Life as a Morgan

Oh my sweet Kennedy, how is it that she is almost 10 months old and I am just now writing the story of how she entered this world. I remember Kennedy's birth as being so empowering. So many things went wrong with my labor & delivery the first time around, so it was relieving to have this amazing birth I had been dreaming of.  For weeks I told everyone she was going to come on March 30th, it was the perfect day because Nate had the weekend off work and he had a few days off of school. I w as breastfeeding through my pregnancy so I was having Braxton hicks pretty early and was at risk for an early delivery. At 38 weeks I was dilated to a 2 and had my membranes swept for the first time at my check up. After my 2 pm appointment I took Emmalynn shopping and was having some serious contractions. I knew I wanted to labor at home this time and I was not going to the hospital until after I put my daughter to bed at 8 pm since she had never spent a night away from me and was still...

For the last nice day of fall I took the girls outside for a quick photoshoot! I'm loving my new camera and teaching myself how to use it. So during the snow today I've been editing all the pictures I've taken this last week. Enjoy :)

Hi all 👋🏽 I am Kaite! I'm new to this blog thing, and I'm still not entirely sure it will stick but I'm giving it a try. What better way to document my life and my girls than this? I'm thinking this will mostly be pictures (since I just got a new canon rebel t6i, thanks hubby 😘) and a little about what's going on in my life. So for anybody who's reading that doesn't already know, I'm Kaite, I married my best friend in September & we have 2 girls. Emmalynn who was born 8/29/14 & Kennedy who was born 3/30/16. I plan to blog about their birth stories & the wedding pretty soon to have it written down somewhere and for anybody who is interested in my stories. This life is crazy, being young with two babies but I wouldn't have it any other way. So thanks for reading & check back for more!
